Mechanical press is a stamping machine driven by crank shaft or knuckle joint mechanism, cam mechanism, screw mechanism, used for stamping on metal sheets, by applying strong pressure on the material to make it deformed and fractured to process into parts. Smooth working, high working precision, good operating conditions, high productivity, easy to realize mechanization, automation, suitable for working on automatic lines, widely used in automotive, marine and other industrial machinery presses.
Working Principle:
When mechanical press works, by the motor through the triangle belt drive large pulley (usually doubles as a flywheel), through the gear and clutch drive crank slider mechanism, so that the slider and the cam die straight line downward. After the stamping work is completed, the slider returns upward, the clutch is automatically disengaged, and at the same time the brake on the crankshaft is turned on, so that the slider stops near the upper stop.
In production, it is possible to exceed the nominal working force of the press. In order to ensure the safety of the equipment, overload protection devices are often installed on the press. In order to ensure the personal safety of the operator, the press is equipped with a photoelectric or two-handed personal protection device.
