The main features of high-speed presses include:
High number of slider strokes: The number of slider strokes directly reflects the production efficiency of the press. The slider strokes of modern high-speed presses can reach 1,000 to 3,000 times per minute.
Large inertia: Due to the high-speed reciprocating motion of the slider and the mold, a large inertial force will be generated, which may cause inertial vibration of the machine tool, affecting the performance of the press and the life of the mold.
Emergency brake device: The transmission system of the high-speed press has good emergency braking characteristics so that it can stop urgently when the accident monitoring device sounds an alarm to avoid unnecessary economic losses and safety accidents.
High feeding accuracy: The feeding accuracy can reach ±0.01 to ±0.03 mm, which helps to improve the positioning accuracy of the work step and reduce equipment or mold damage caused by inaccurate feeding.
High machine rigidity and slider guide accuracy: High-speed presses are usually equipped with high-precision gap feeding devices, balancing devices, vibration reduction and silencer devices, and accident monitoring devices to ensure the stability and accuracy of the machine tool.
